Risks Of Live Apps
1 in 5 youth are victims of illegal online activity
1 in 9 men offend against children
3.5% of children experience sexual extortion, i.e. blackmail
According to We Protect Global Alliance
High Risk Apps
Every social media, gaming, or chatting app has predators who are seeking access to children. Apps where children have access to live streaming are at a very high risk, while apps with only chat will involve grooming children to share other social media accounts where content can be exchanged or shared.
